We've been laser-focused on making VenuMax the best single-platform event management solution anywhere. With that in mind, here's a look at the latest lineup of slick, new features we've added.

Calendar Enhancements
Booking Calendar
We added color control to our Venue (Booking) Calendar so you can control the event colors. Then we added the ability to switch over and show hold levels with a separate color scheme. Finally we improved the display of multiple events in a single week by stacking them onto each week's calendar display. As as you can see from the screenshot, there's drill down into every event's details.
Avails
The VenuMax Venue Availability screen has had a complete makeover. We added the ability to create a multi-room reservation right from the Venue Availability screen. And we expanded the display area to show a full month at a time.​
Event Order Enhancements
Menu Item Selector
Promote your venue's kitchen using an advanced Menu Items selector. This feature organizes your kitchen's many, many menu items by category (like Beverages) and subcategory (like Coffee). It will even apportion the item's needed quantity based on overall attendance.

To make this even better, the Menu Item selector offers you pictures of each menu item, as well as each item's long descriptions. Your venue will use these descriptions to promote every meal. Just hit "save" and this information flows immediately onto the event order and then onto the elegantly formatted Visual Proposal -- with no additional effort.​
Event Attendance

VenuMax now lets you record planned and actual attendance for each event. You set this up for whatever attendance parameters you need for your venue. And the system will automatically maintain separate copies of planned attendance separate from actual attendance.

Customer Insurance Policy Management
Now you can keep track of customer insurance documentation and expiration. VenuMax will check this each time you book an order with the customer and warn you if it's expired.

New Pivot Tables
You'll love the two new pivot tables -- Event Analysis and Daily Staffing. The Event Analysis pivot table helps you to analyze venue profitability using a number of measures, like Event Type, Department, Month/Year and Customer. The Daily Staff pivot table presents a flexible view of the event's staffing plans. Everything you do here is interactive -- drag/drop, drill down, and more.

Daily Staffing Entry
We added a new, and more efficient, way to enter daily staffing requirements for an event. This gives you a quicker way to enter staffing needs for an event.

Licensing and Certifications
Now when you schedule someone to operate a scissor lift, you can make sure you're only selected from lift operators with the requisite safety training. You can even store a copy of their license or certificate. ​
Automated Data Conversion
This is big. No need to worry about converting your old events, contacts, customers, or receivables. We have predefined "mappings" into VenuMax, built using the powerful Acumatica built-in tools for importing data. This means that, as long as you are using any common legacy event software, we will automate and streamline the loading of your master file data.

This is one of the "smartest" import tools you'll find anywhere. For example, the tool automatically knows when to modify an existing record versus when to insert a new one. We just present the record from your old database and the software figures out what to do!
